My First 1,000 Words - Flashcards and Kids Games app good for

My 18 month old loves this app! Great for learning first words with nice pictures :) Its easy for him to operate and I like that it is customizable. We added an album of family pictures for him to flip through too.

My granddaughter loves this and so do I! It is fun and educational all at the same time. Would recommend it to anyone with little ones.

My husband is a stroke victim and has severe speech problems (aphasia). This is one of the best apps we have used. Just so many items to show and tell! He is learning by sight (sound off) & sound. Thank You!

Beautiful flash cards! It great that I can record my own voice in another language

This is the best flash cards. It has very useful play modes so it work for my 2 and 4 yr old kids. Please have a french edition

I bought the old version last year, then when I got a new iPod I bought it again. This updated and expanded version is awesome! My toddler son loves it and I really like huge the variety of categories.

Some bad moments

Love this for my toddler! Big words but she loves the different things to see!

Anyone who lives or works with young children can benefit from this app. My toddler loves it, especially the cards we made ourselves of family members and places we visit. He is able to choose categories and flip through cards independently and learned at least a dozen new words today. I will also use this with the older autistic and downs syndrome children I teach to learn names of classmates and staff and create a visual schedule. No problems with crashing or disappearing buttons on iPhone4.

This app is wonderful! I love that the flashcards are categorized into basic categories, making it that much easier to use. I wish that there was a "back" button to go back in case of an accidental tap on the screen, or if the child/student was incorrect the first time. The fact that you cannot go back is my only caveat with this app. Otherwise I love it! wonderful app for first words!

One of the best parts of this app is that it allows you to add your voice to pictures. How better fir your kids to learn but from you voice. Also you can add family members and their names along with pets or just about anything else you want to take a picture of and add to the list. So far no issues with the programing.

I love how you can add your own photos and record your own words! I am teaching my toddler common words so i take pictures of stuff around the house and we play find this item!
